They found it easier to use a business credit card than attempting to get a small business loan. Recently someone told me that they had been trying to pay off their credit card debt. They had been paying on it for over ten years, and the end was still not in sight. The debt had begun back in college days, and since that time this person had married, had a couple of kids, incurred a couple of car loans, and a nice, fat mortgage to deal with each month. The impossibility of paying off the credit card debt seemed quite likely for him.
