The Basics Of Filing For Bankruptcy

A report filed early in January 2010 stated that filings for personal bankruptcy increased by 32 percent to nearly 1.5 million in the year 2009. A report that came out of the United States Bankruptcy Court declared that there was an increase of 46 percent of Chapter 7 filings and Chapter 13 filings increased by 39 percent between the years 2007 and 2009.
